Cashew Cream

INGREDIENTS

1 cup raw cashews, soaked in boiling water for at least 2 hours.

3/4 cup filtered water

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 tablespoon of savoury yeast flakes

METHOD

1. Once cashews have soaked, drain and rinse well.

2. In a food processor or Thermomix add cashews and all other ingredients and process till smooth. 

This recipe can be used in the Poppy Seed Chicken recipe or used as a dip. Replace sour cream in recipe for this dairy free option.
