Educating and inspiring people
to harness the healing power of food for optimal wellness

Hi, I’m Jennie Janes, The Gut Naturopath.

About me:

From Health Crisis to Healer

My journey to becoming a gut health specialist began in 2013, when I faced my own health challenges — parasites and two autoimmune diseases, Collagenous Colitis and Autoimmune Hepatitis.

Conventional treatments left me depleted and discouraged, so I turned inward and began exploring natural medicine. Through food, functional testing, lifestyle shifts, and an understanding of the gut’s profound influence on every system of the body, I gradually rebuilt my health from the inside out.

That personal transformation inspired me to dedicate my career to helping others achieve the same freedom.

With a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) and advanced training in functional medicine and gut health, I now guide clients through a deeply personalised, evidence‑based process to uncover and correct the root causes of digestive and autoimmune conditions.

My clients often arrive after years of frustration — yet within weeks of structured, focused care, the change can be remarkable. I’ve seen people like Sarah, who once lived with debilitating IBS, reclaim comfort, energy, and the joy of eating without fear.

As a mother of five and passionate cook, I believe healing is not just clinical — it’s deeply personal. Food is both medicine and connection, and I teach my clients how to heal through nourishment that is as enjoyable as it is therapeutic.

Living off‑grid in the beautiful Northern Rivers, NSW, I practice what I teach: simplicity, connection to nature, and mindful living. These principles underpin my work and form the foundation of my signature Gut Health Restoration Program — a private, transformative experience for those ready to fully invest in their wellbeing.

If you’re ready to commit to deep healing and lasting results, I invite you to apply to work privately with me.
